Grantham and District Indoor Bowls Club
Grantham Indoor Bowls Club was founded in 1981 and is owned by the members. There are six rinks, a fully stocked bar, a comfortable lounge, a modern catering kitchen and a spacious car park.
There are a range of bowling options to suit all members from beginners to National standard. Bowls is for all ages and backgrounds and an ideal place to socialise and make new friends. We encourage juniors with special coaching and provide access for those with a disability including a purpose designed bowls wheelchair.
For those who want to progress their game there are many club leagues and competitions, as well as county and national competitions rising to the open singles circuit. Otherwise, there are regular social bowling sessions which are more relaxed, friendly matches with other clubs including against the Lincolnshire Vice Presidents, and also the Grantham Presidents matches.
Socially, there are a wide range of events including coffee mornings, race nights, fun bowls days and quiz evenings.
Twice a year, a bowls kit supplier visits the club so members can purchase all that is necessary for the game from clothing and shoes to bags and bowls.
Members
Grantham Indoor Bowls Club has over 380 members and is well known for its friendly welcome to all new members and any visiting teams. Bowls is a very sociable sport so very easy to make new friends and meet with old friends every week. Families, friends and spectators are welcome to come for a coffee and a chat.
Our members have won County and National titles and the club itself is popular for hosting such events.

Club Clothing
We have recently acquired new bowls club shirts that have been designed and manufactured by Henselite. They are vibrant in design and colour and provide a modern feel representing the bowling club at all levels.
